Heart is approx. 12.5 x 11 ish mm and very thick, 4.5 mm. Every direction shows a new glittery side, like stars in a galaxy!!!! This one looks like a shiny RUST/PEACH/ORANGE/GOLD stone even when it doesn't catch light. The specks that cause the brightness, sparkle, and glitter-like effect in confetti sunstones are primarily tiny reflective mineral inclusions, most commonly Hematite or Goethite. These tiny platelets are embedded within the feldspar and reflect light to create a phenomenon known as aventurescence or a “schiller” effect. These pics are taken without flash or sunlight so you can imagine how vivid it is! ✨️ Different lighting & angles show different brightness! THIS GEM IS BRIGHT IN EVERY OTHER DIRECTION!!! ***Sunstones are DIRECTIONAL! So they catch light at a specific spot and get SUPER BRIGHT, like lighting up! In other directions, they won’t have that sheen and color. Disclaimer They may show inclusions, potch lines, internal crazing lines, or internal fractures from mining that can look like scratches, just like a regular stone!!! (Please see the video!!! The lines are naturally there and do not mean the stone is weak or will break on its own! They are part of the gem.) But the base color is always there, even if it isn’t shining!
