This opal is directional! So at some directions it will catch light, & fire up a mauve purple blue rainbow, others has a S shape red flash, at one direction its just blackish with a few small specks. 🤗

Australian LR Opals are the 5th most expensive gem in the world! its for a reason; Australian opals are world famous for their beauty & color preservation in water!!!! The inexpensive Ethiopian opals lose their color in water/ perspiration. Hence, Aussie opals are some of the rarest & most expensive gemstones in the world!

I have made this piece with many hours of labor of love (literally)! I cut the opal from rough stone material sourced from Lightning Ridge, Australia. The ring is handmade with a bezel setting ti protect the Opal 💎

The opals are first photographed under sunlight to show the best color they can display. They are also filmed indoors without sunlight or flash. It is very difficult to capture the play-of-fire in opals. I can assure you they look even better in person than in the listing photos.
