This stunning Black Opal is mighty, flashes in neon teal, purple, & blue colors!! It is a longer gem, which would make a lovely ring or bracelet! I cut this gem from rough stone from Lightning Ridge, the mine of vivid black opals.

*Aussie opals are highly prized because they don’t lose color in water or sweat and are less prone to cracking than cheaper Ethiopian opals. Opals set in protective bezels* are good for everyday wear!

The price quoted is for a simple bezel ring in 925 sterling silver! I’m happy to offer this piece in your custom size and choice of metal. Can be upgraded to 9ct gold, etc! Would look lovely with dark blue sapphire accents💙✨️ Each piece is thoughtfully made to order, just for you. 💜 Please allow 4 to 6* weeks for completion.

Opals are light-dependent; their most vivid flashes are seen in sunlight or bright indoor light! In dull light, they do not appear as bright! Opals also have directions, some more brighter than others! I’ve included photos and videos in different lighting so you know what to expect 🤗🖤🌌 The first image is taken with flash, showing the brightest it can look, like in direct sunlight!!

*This is a black crystal Opal & crystals show their color flashes best against a dark/black background. Hence, I have varnished its back with black gel to show how it will look in a ring setting with a darkened base, which is usually done for crystal opal jewelry! (It looks 10% more vivid with the darkened base of the ring, at no extra cost to you! Voila 😍🖤🌌)
