Boulder opals are more durable for everyday wear! Thicker Opals are much stronger & less prone to cracking on hard impact! Boulder opals are a layer of opal on top of the host ironstone, which makes them very vibrant & strong too! Aussie opals are highly prized because they *don’t lose color in water or sweat and are much less prone to cracking than cheaper Ethiopian opals. Opals set in protective bezels* are good for everyday wear!

I take great care photographing and filming each opal in all lighting conditions. Feel free to ask for more photos or videos. Any slight difference in appearance is due to the natural limitations of capturing opals on camera.
