These beautiful marquise iolites have a burgundy purple hue, with multicolored, starry glittery flecks! 🌌 The bright flecks can be seen indoors in regular light as well as sunlight, which shows the best shine! It is a facetted cut, so very shiny! ✨️ Iolites are directional*, their hematite flecks shine in some directions and remain dull in others, but the burgundy purple base color is stunning even then, see video! ✨️ The dark royal blue pear iolite has less prominent flecks, a very stunning base color of blue! *Please allow *4 to 6 weeks for completion! *PS see size of stone in the picture with scale, my hands are very chunky lol! (ABOUT IOLITES) Bloodshot Iolite is one of the RAREST gems mined from earth!! Very sought after and rare✨️! It is said, "If hundreds of sunstones are mined! One Iolite hematite is found!!!" It is admired for its deep violet-blue hues and distinctive, mysterious crimson flashes caused by natural hematite inclusions*. These reflective inclusions create a subtle STARRY shimmer and almost celestial play of color when touched by light, giving the stone its signature “bloodshot” appearance. With its velvety luster, durability, and rare visual depth, it offers a luxurious blend of elegance and individuality, making it perfect for those who appreciate rare beauty with a bold, sophisticated edge! I have a small collection of Iolites which a miner sold me (his couple of YEARS mined iolite!) 🌌🖤✨️ The gems are photographed in sunlight, regular indoor light & dull light, all the settings! They show their bright flecks indoor in average light too! ✨️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS: ****1. Iolites are DIRECTIONAL gems! They shine bright on certain angles & remain dull on others! They show their GLOWING flecks in regular indoor light too, at the bright directions! The brightest holographic kind of flashes tend to show in sunlight. ****2. Sunstones & iolites have natural inclusions, lines like "scratches", and the presence of internal crazing from their formation & mining, which adds a certain look! It is very HARD, so it doesn't mean it's weak because of this! It is a common structural configuration. The higher the grade of gem, the fewer the inclusions & pricier the gem.
