This stunning MERMAID🧜‍♀️ natural Australian boulder opal ring is handmade with 925 sterling silver. It is a size 7 US!

This neon opal with purple & teal flashes is called "PIPE boulder opal"! 💚💜💚💜 Pipe opals are sought after for their magical mermaid-like VIBRANT colors! ✨️ Usually glittery bright teals & purples together! 💜💙✨️ Opals set in protective bezels* are good for everyday wear!

Australian opals are world famous for their beauty & color preservation. The inexpensive Ethiopian opals lose their color in water/ perspiration. Hence, Aussie opals are some of the rarest & most expensive gemstones in the world!

*Your opal will not lose color in water! So don't worry about that! 🩵*

It is bright in indoor dull lighting too, which is a rare "pipe opal" quality! They shine brightest in sunlight or bright indoor light, like the pictures! There may be natural inclusions* in some boulders, not anything prominent aesthetically. Please see the pictures! ✨️

Boulder opals are a layer of opal on top of the host ironstone, which makes them very vibrant & strong too!

I have made this piece by my hands, with many hours of labor of love (literally)!

The opals are first photographed under sunlight to show the best color they can display. They are also filmed indoors without sunlight or flash. It is very difficult to capture the play-of-fire in opals. I can assure you they look even better in person than in the listing photos.
